Boat Sales Executive - Crick/Northamptonshire/Warwickshire/Hybrid + travel

£30,000 basic, £51,000 O.T.E 1st year uncapped + travel + outstanding benefits.

 

Do you have extensive experience selling a high value product or service and are looking to try a new industry? Boat sales is a particularly buoyant market, and our client, a nationwide boat brokerage and marina operator are expanding their boat sales team.

 

The role:

·         Fielding incoming enquiries to buy and sell boats and manage the sales process from valuation to completion.

·         Proactively source boats to sell, both inside and outside their marinas around Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire.

·         Create a network of potential buyers and sellers, building relationships along the way to establish yourself as the go to boat sales broker in the region.

·         Collaborate with the marketing, administration and marina operations teams to ensure a joined-up approach to the customer journey.

·         Manage you own diary working any 5 from 7 days to maximise the opportunity to sell boats.

·         Base yourself from the Crick sales office and on the road once or twice a week to meet customers, do new business development and attend trade shows and events.

Person we are looking for:

·         Personable, ambitious, self-starter, motivated to achieve and surpass sales targets.

·         Successful sales and business development experience within the same or similar market such as Estate Agency/Property sales, holiday home sales, caravan sales, campervan sales, motorhome sales, car sales or Premium Health & Fitness club membership sales.

·         Experience in proactively generating your own leads in previous sales roles.

·         Ideally have an interest in boats, water activities, the waterside or outdoor living.

·         Have your own transport and willing to use your own vehicle for work travel.
