Duty Manager x 2 Visitor Attraction 35K

I am recruiting for 2 duty managers to work for a high footfall premium competitive socializing and entertainment venue in Canary Wharf. Working with the attractions manager and their assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the guests receive an exceptional experience throughout their journey across the experience. Responsibilities include:

• Lead from the front in ensuring all customers receive a world class visitor experience.
• Conduct 5-minute introductory briefing sessions on the experience to guests.
• Rotating game show hosts as required during shifts according to customer flow
• Organising shifts and rotas for staff with fairness and sufficient time to plan
• Support the guests with their journey across the different games.
• Covering for or supporting the team as a host as and when required.
• Play a role in recruiting hosts and be hands on with their induction and ongoing training.
• Carry out performance reviews and appraisals with hosts.
• Consistently focused on the highest levels of health and safety and operational excellence.
• Open and close the venue, opening hours are typically 9am -11pm.

To be successful you'll need to have a can-do attitude, be highly organised, charismatic with great communication skills and the confidence to present and coach and train your team. We are looking for a minimum of 3 years managerial experience working as a duty or operations management within a high volume and fast paced leisure or hospitality business.You will be working a combination of shifts during the week and a minimum of 1 weekend in 2.
