General Manager Portsmouth to 45K OTE 50K+

We have a hugely exciting opportunity for a general manager to manage a leading family entertainment Centre in Portsmouth.

We are keen to talk to candidates who have a proven and successful track record in running a large multipurpose health and fitness, children's activity or family entertainment centre. The role will be multi-functional, fast paced and hands-on role with a key focus being to ensure the highest level of health and safety and operational excellence across the centre. You will also need to be commercially astute to ensure the highest levels of occupancy and yield across varied programmed activities with a major focus on promoted children's parties underpinning a high-volume food and beverage operation.

As general manager you will play a key role in the recruitment, coaching and ongoing training and development of your team having a key focus on looking at bringing on your team of duty managers and front line to deliver the highest possible standards of customer service. You will be the type of manager who enjoys leading from the front and engaging with members, inclusive and supportive in your approach to managing team members and have the personality to instill a fun and vibrant environment for your team and members. You will be expected to work closely with local corporate businesses, schools and community partners to ensure that the facility is marketed and promoted well within the local area using a mix of digital, print and awareness campaigns.

We are looking to offer the successful candidate a basic salary of up to 45K with the genuine opportunity to earn a further 5K in performance related bonuses, You will be expected to work a minimum of one 1 weekend in 2. Interviews are immediately available.
