Sales Director - UK/Europe to 100K basic 140K+ OTE

A rare and exciting opportunity to take on the head of sales role for a luxury operator of premium health and fitness brand clubs in Europe. You can be based in either the UK or Germany but will involve extensive travel to Europe where all of the clubs are based - Germany, Belgium, Italy and Spain. It is essential that interested candidates can demonstrate a proven track record in a similar sales director post ideally with European experience. You will influencing the sales infrastructure within the business but at the same time will need to enjoy coaching and leading teams to meet and exceed sales targets working with a premium product ideally working with luxury brand in hotels, retail or hospitality. The ability to speak German, Italian or French is beneficial but not essential, Key responsibilities include:

  • Continue to shape and influence the sales teams at each club to achieve best-in-class performance.
  • Drive sales performance through regular meetings, communication and management against targets.
  • Deliver inspirational and ongoing sales coaching and training to the sales managers and sales teams.
  • Set KPIs and use data to drive performance management and effective decision-making.
  • Ensure member numbers and yield are ahead of budget expectations.
  • Drive motivation and overperformance through fun, innovative and challenging monthly incentives.
  • Outline to General Managers clear action plans so that they may support and drive their teams daily.
  • Play an active role within the senior management team to shape long term strategic goals.
  • Work with key Operations and Marketing Senior Management to ensure robust sales and retention plans are in place.

In addition to a basic salary of up to £100,000, there is a quarterly bonus scheme that pays up to £10,000 per quarter providing the opportunity to earn an annual package of £140,000 per annum.
